This book really got me through a tough summer! I started recently in July, and I was going through personal issues that left me near depression. I found videos of Mindful Sudoku on tiktok and thought, why not? Sudoku and journaling seems interesting! I noticed a change instantly with my sleep quality. I was sleeping through the night, because it feels like you're doing an enrichment exercise for your brain right before bed. 2nd thing I noticed was the change in my mood and getting to brain dump into these journal prompts. It helped me feel like my situation was not as big as it needed to be. It truly helped pull me out of a dark place in my life, and I will be raving about this book forever! I love playing sudoku now!! I'm not advanced, but I love the challenge of attempting one. Seriously get this if you want better sleep quality and mental clarity!!

The idea for Mindful Sudoku came to me after a dark period in my life, similar to yours: playing Sudoku soothed my cycles of overthinking and broke my attachment with my phone (I doomscrolled on social media as a form of escaping difficult emotions); journaling taught me self awareness & helped me process/separate from all of the chaos in my mind; I wanted to combine Sudoku + Journaling into one book so others could experience the benefits of both in one practice.
